PKS and Breast Cancer Awareness
To support Breast Cancer Awareness, the team had a fun competition at practice. Each player was allowed to take a penalty kick on Coach Berkowitz by giving a small donation. If the player scored, Coach Berkowitz would then donate as well. After 25 penalty kicks and a good work out, Coach Berkowitz saved 17 shots. Junior, Sarah Rothrock, exclaimed, "Today's practice was epic!"

Weekend Win and Helping Others
"The ESU women’s soccer team was busy this weekend when it came to being active in the community. On Saturday, the warriors warmed up in their Think Pink t-shirts in support of research for Breast Cancer. After a very exciting win over Gannon on Saturday, the games continued as the team volunteered at the Special Olympics that were held on campus. They participated as linesmen, officials, and cheerers for the teams that participated. Overall, it was a great experience."
"I think the team liked the experience because they got to help others play a sport that they love to play and see the participants enjoy it too."

Captain and Senior
Sophomores: Growing Together :)
"The sophomore class is and has always been very close on and off the field. Last year, we were all inseparable during preseason and continued the bond throughout the fall season and spring season as well. We continued to stay close and as time flies, we realized that over a year has passed us by. It amazes us all how quickly our freshman year seemed to pass and sooner then we realized it was time for our sophomore year!"
"We are all definitely looking forward to spending the next two years as a group and continuing to bond on and off the field. We all know there is so much time to build as a team and we have so much more to learn from each other and from our own experiences as well. We know that our team has so many opportunities for success and we have built great relationships with not only the returning upperclassman but the incoming freshman class as well. These connections that we have made will continue to grow stronger and make us the best team we can be. We are all very excited to continue to improve on and off the field!"
